The last bastion of safe porn surfing is now gone as a new piece of malware is now targeting Mac users with an inclination to watch porn

A Mac security company called Intego issued a warning on Wednesday to Mac users of a malware, OSX.RSPlug.A which is basically Trojan. It disguises itself as a video codec that ensures whatever porn video the user just stumbled on will actually play on the user's Mac.
In order to infect the user system, the user must accept the invitation to download the "new version of the codec", open the disk image file (.dmg), click the installer.pkg file, and enter the administrator's password. But once infected, the Trojan changes the machine's DNS settings to hijack web traffic and redirect it to phishing sites or other porn ads. Oh, and by the way, you still don't get to watch the video.
Though Tiger may not notify the user of the infection, Leopard's Advanced Network preferences will at least let the user see that the DNS servers have changed, though changing them back is a lengthy process. Of course Intego does sell security software that protects Macs from the malware. The other way to avoid infection really is just a little common sense. No porn is worth installing something nasty on your Mac.
