Sega announced NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams is coming to the Nintendo Wii

Sega announced a sequel to the acclaimed NiGHTS franchise, NiGHTS: Journey of dreams will be coming to the Nintendo Wii. The NiGHTS franchise allowed gamers the freedom to fly through a world of dreams and imagination. You can expect NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams to hit the store shelves sometime during the fall of 2007.
Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America said “We plan to deliver a gameplay experience never before seen on the Wii with NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams." He further added “The game takes full advantage of the unique Wii Remote controller enabling gamers to guide NiGHTS through spectacularly designed dream worlds intertwined with a story about hope and courage.”
The jester called NiGHTS flies through the dream world of Nightopia, a rich an vibrant world where dreams seem to come to life. Using the Wii Remote, gamers will enjoy the experience of flying and gliding, looping and even spiraling through seven dream worlds that are packed with "high-flying adventure". The gamer's goal is to find unique and inventive ways to confront the "Nightmarens", creatures from a neighboring dark world of Nightmare. Players will use NiGHT's acrobatic skills and freedom of flight along with other special skills to protect Nightopia from the Nightmaren.
