Video game expo draws gamers from wide and far with a great mix of vendor exhibitions.

Los Angeles Convention Center just saw an influx of 18,000 gamers as the E for All expo hit town on Thursday and closed on Sunday. Okay, the event is no E3 Expo but then again the organizers of the show never compare the two expositions. E3 focuses on media and industry buyers while E for All is an entirely new show created by IDG World Expo that focuses on the interests of gamers themselves, thus the name, "Entertainment for All".

Taking place in the South Hall of the LA Convention Center, E for All drew more than 70 exhibitors from all over the world including Nintendo, Konami, Namco Bandai, Electronic Arts, THQ, 2K Games & Sports, Hewlett Packard, and so many more. Target joined forces with RedOctane and Activision and held a Rock Star shredder contest awarding more than $3,000 in cash and gift cards while other events were held throughout the hall including previews of upcoming games including Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Metal Gear Solid 4.

Major League Gaming also set up shop in the South Hall and held LAN competitions and 4 vs. 4 play on a variety of games including Halo CE and Shadowrun. And of course no MLG exhibition would be complete without a guest appearance by Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel, one of the world's top grossing pro gamers. We can only assume that this expo will more than double its size and exposure for 2008, and we for one can't wait to see it grow.
