Pirated copies of the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV has hit the Internet by a group named iCON which has released the pirated version of GTA IV.

Pirated copies of the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV has hit the Internet by a group named iCON which has released the pirated version of GTA IV.

A group named iCON has released Xbox 360 pirated versions of Grand Theft Auto IV which are popping up on a variety of torrent Web sites.

There has yet to be any confirmation that this is the real full retail build of the game.

The full pirated copy of GTA IV was distributed by the group is proclaimed to be the PAL build with a total size of 6.32 GB. Moreover, rumors are circulating that a leaked NTSC version could be ready within a day or two.

This is surely not going to please Rockstar, even though the group stresses that gamers should "go and buy this one!"

The release also stresses, "Don’t play this game while connected to Xbox Live till next week!"

Meanwhile, Best Buy Canada and Xbox Canada are joining forces for the launch of Grand Theft Auto IV with a midnight madness theatre experience.

Customers will find themselves involved in themed interactive activities and will experience the hard life of Liberty City first-hand as they wait to get a copy of what's predicted to be the video game with the most first week sales in history.
