Google's co-founder Sergey Brin has booked a space adventure flight placing a $5 million deposit.Google Inc co-founder Sergey Brin has decided to live a dream and so has placed a $5 million deposit on a seat for a future space flight. The company, Vienna, VA. based Space Adventures specializes in space exploration adventures announced on Wednesday that Brin has become a founding member of its Orbital Mission Explorers Circle. This is a program that provides special access to space mission seats to those who can afford it. Brin said that he is a big believer in commercial development and exploration of space and is looking forward to the possibility to blasting off into space himself one day. He went on to say that Space Adventures graciously helped open the space frontier to private citizens, paving the way for the personal space flight industry. The Orbital Mission Explorers Circle allows private individuals to make immediate investments and at the same time preserve the option to participate in space flight in the future. Space Adventures already has a history of aiding people explore the near reaches of space, boasting of clients such as Dennis Tito, Mark Shuttleworth, Greg Olsen, Anousheh Ansari, and Charles Simonyi who have paid between $20 and $40 million for a brief ride into space.
