Electronic Arts Inc. is preparing to release the long awaited game Spore next week and while getting the advertising machine geared up, EA let some celebrities play a little and create some Spore creatures. In fact the creations are viewable online and the public is encouraged to vote on the best of the creatures at http://www.sporevote.com/index.html.
Some of the celebrities include a friend of GameSHOUT, Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling, Stan Lee the co-creator of the X-Men and Spider Man, Spore creator Will Wright, Richard Branson Virgin mogul, and many others. Each of the famous Spore creations is on YouTube where the public can view the creatures.
{slot15}Spore is set to release on the 7th of September on PC, Mac, and on the Nintendo DS. Spore allows players to build their own personal universe in a box. Then the life evolves, establishes tribes, builds civilizations, and allows the gamer to create and sculpt entire worlds of their own. Players can even visit and explore worlds created by other gamers by building and traveling in their spaceship by way of Sporepedia.
Players have even had a head start in creating some of their creatures by way of the Spore Creature Creator. This is a free downloadable editor that lets players craft their creatures and upload them to share.
Be ready, because we believe that there are going to be lots of little creations out there ready to take over the world.
