Konami showes its wares for the coming year at E3, and they were quite impressive.

Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. has unveiled its coming year of great games for all platforms at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2008 (E3) in Los Angeles, Califorina this week. The lineup features top titles for all major platforms; Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony's PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3, and Nintento's Wii as well as the hand held DS system.

One of the highlighted titles this year at the Konami booth at E3 is Rock Revolution. This is a game that not only lets you play along with about 40 songs to start out with, but you can also create your own music as well making it a unique offering on the music game scene. It has a broad range of music styles with downloadable music available. Players can rock out on guitar, bass, or drums, or just use the guitar and drum kit in Jam Mode and record on up to 8 separate tracks.

Play in one of several stunning venues and of course whats more fun than playing with your friends in co-op mode, except in a battle of the bands or a versus mode. And the drum peripheral is the most realistic on the market, having been designed by real musicians for a more realistic hard-hitting experience. It will be available on the Xbox 360, the Sony PS3, the Nintendo Wii and the DS as well. Rock Revolution is set to release in the Fall of 2008.

But this isn't the only game Konami was showcasing, though it was one of the favored. Castlevania is making its next generation come-back on the Nintendo Wii with the Franchise's first fighting game, Castlevania: Judgement is set to release in the fall of this year. And at the same time, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia will be hitting the Nintendo DS around the same time and looks to be another great side-scrolling load of fun.

For the singers among you, there is the latest installment in the award-winning Karaoke Revolution franchise, Karaoke Revolution American Idol Encore 2. And along side that is one of the most popular games of all time celebrating its tenth anniversary, Dance Dance Revolution with three new releases; Hottest Party 2 for the Wii, Universe 3 for the Xbox 360, and X for the PS2. This is the year to dance, all of these are set to release in the fall of this year, just in time for the holiday season.

Just when you thought that was all that one company could publish, Konami kicked it into overdrive and showed us even more with New International Track and Field for the DS, Lost in Blue Shipwrecked for the Wii, Time Hallow and Elebits: Adventures of Kai and Zero for the Nintendo DS. Then they take us back to our nightmares with Silent Hill: Homecoming for the Sony PS3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360. All of these are expected to also release in the fall of 2008.

So as you can see, Konami has a really busy season ahead of them and they really are giving us reviewers a lot of "work" to look forward to. But you can be sure that we will be doing our jobs diligently and keeping you posted on all that is goodness in the world of gaming. And I thing we saw some of it at the Konami booth at E3. Kudos guys...keep up the good work.
