Britney Spears' former manager, Sam Lutfi, has agreed to stay away from the pop singer for another month.

Britney Spears' former manager, Sam Lutfi, has agreed to stay away from the pop singer for another month.

A judge is widely expected to extend an existing restraining order on Monday against Sam Lutfi who has agreed to stay away from Britney Spears for another month.

The order means Lutfi cannot contact Spears in any way and must stay away from the homes of her parents and children.

"There is an agreement between Sam Lutfi and the conservatorship for the next 30 days," Sam Lutfi's spokesman Michael Sands said.

In February, a Los Angeles judge ordered Lutfi to not go within 250 yards of Spears.

Britney's mother complained about Lutfi's behavior, alleging that he had drugged Spears and cut her home phone.

Britney Spears' father, James Spears, has been granted temporary conservatorship over his 26-year-old daughter's life and her estate until 31 July.

Conservatorships are generally granted for people deemed to be unable to care for themselves or their affairs.

In January the pop star was banned from seeing her two sons, although since then she has briefly had access to them. Britney's erratic behavior, which included shaving her head in public last year, were one of several episodes that set her in a psychiatric ward in February.
